It's an old tradition in the Catalonia region around Barcelona.
To make a Catalan Christmas log, you give a log a nose and mouth, and then the kids feed the log all December and keep it warm with a blanket.
And then on Xmas day, the kids hit the log with a stick, and it poops candy! Oh the magic of Christmas!
Of course in Spanish they dont say "Christmas log", they call it a Tio de Nadal.
Can you spot the Tio de Nadal in this image crop from our Sleigh Stop puzzle?
We're now including a card with each Sleigh Stop puzzle with a few more fun things to find.
Here's a fun deeper dive on the Tio de Nadal from NPR.
