This is a 214 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of "The Kingdom" by Aaron Wolf. The puzzle design by Jef Bambas consists entirely of interlocking pieces comprised of linked-together octagons (see images below for example pieces),. This puzzle is harder than our average puzzle because you can put pieces in wrong. Our Ecru puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

I really enjoyed the shapes in this puzzle. I found myself thinking 'oh this isn't so hard' and then not to much later; 'oh no now what'. Totally had fun and the picture was beautiful.

Loved this puzzle. I enjoy different puzzle designs and this definitely fits that preference. I also enjoy hard puzzles - this one wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Hard to get going but after that not so much. Hoping Artifact makes more like this one!

Lovely puzzle with great colors. It's not really that difficult. We did have to remove a piece from time to time but with two people working together it's not that bad. I think if you're doing it alone, it would definitely be more challenging. Another very nice Artifact puzzle.

This puzzle is very lovely and mosaic like when finished - but not "really hard" at all. We found it rather easy actually, more so if standing above puzzle table rather than sitting at it because seeing shapes from above made finding their places easier. We do love the image and wondered if anyone has put it together without keeping the image intact - and with holes etc, just as a creative exercise to make an entirely new image as is possible b/c of octagon shaped pieces. We love all of our artifact puzzles but prefer those that are larger, have more pieces, and greater difficulty.

I really loved this puzzle. Got it because of the shape of the pieces. I was curious to see how it would work. What I wasn't prepared for was how beautiful the final product is. Because the pieces are so uniform it looks like a mosaic when finished. Colors are lovely. It's challenging but not crazy hard once you get the hang of it.
