This is a 367 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a large map of San Francisco where different city neighborhoods are denoted by different literary quotes about San Francisco from authors such as Maya Angelou, Thomas Pynchon, and more (illustration by Ian Huebert, quotes collected by San Francisco Chronicle Book Editor John McMurtrie). The puzzle has a number of San-Francisco-y whimsy pieces and the top edge forms the Golden Gate bridge with drop-out pieces (the other edges are straight). Connectors are mostly small knob connectors with a smattering of letter-shaped connectors. We also offer a 152 piece smaller puzzle with this image and a subset of the whimsy pieces. Puzzle design by Kathryn Flocken and Ben Goldman. Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in a pine wood box. Made 30 min south of San Francisco in Menlo Park (Made in USA).
