Review: Despite its low count of pieces, this puzzle provides enough complexities to make it average difficult and truly enjoyable. Complex because of the foliage and branches that can be disorienting. Enjoyable because of the beauty of the painting and the refined meta structure: swirls that mimic the organic shapes of the trees, lots of birds and leaves connectors to stay on the topic, floral whimsies, a wind chime and a bird to keep company to the one on the painting. The scroll format turns the completed puzzle into an elegant and precious object. It can be an introduction to the art of wooden puzzle, and/or a little gift to a person who enjoys Japanese art, and/or a gift to yourself if you are short on time but still want to finish a puzzle.
