The Heist is a 465 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle and a highly-detailed and comical look at a heist at an art museum by Elijah Haswell.

The puzzle is average difficulty, and has a straight edge, irregular piece shapes, and themed whimsies celebrating icons of fine art and the heist theme.

    Review: Completed as a 2nd hand buy in the UK. An absolute joy. Maybe sometimes you should remind people that "average difficulty" means "average Artifact difficulty", as there was plenty of naughty (in a good way) deception in the cutting, and the busyness of the image made an attempt to sort by colour pretty pointless. The whimsies and (at least to my imagination) reflection of a famous art story in one aspect of the cutting are additions to the subject matter, but additions that don't prevent it from being a proper challenging jigsaw. (Two puzzles recently done here as travelling puzzles seem mainly aimed at producing a nice combined image on the back, but at the cost of providing a puzzle challenge, so given the choice between them and Artifact in some future 2H bidding scenario, Artifact would win every time.)

    Review: I can't even begin to count all the different art references in this picture, but that's not going to stop me from trying! This picture is chock full of hilarious scenes of people posing for selfies mimicing the pictures, absolute chaos everywhere, and at least a few art heists to spot. Plus ducks everywhere, because why not? The piece design is pretty interesting as well with lots of circular patterns and a few different bulb style connectors. All the detail and mixed colors can make it a little busy and overwhelming while putting it together, but like a good heist movie it all comes together in the end in a spectacular fashion. Definitely give this a try if you like this style of comic artwork. It's lots of fun spotting all the different references!
