This is a 65 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a digital artwork by Dennis Brady. The abstract sculptural pieces were designed by puzzle artist Tara Flannery in what we call Stokes-style, a tribute to the signature style of master hand-cutter John Stokes III (used with permission). This is a quick, fun puzzle- it takes most adults 20-60 minutes to put together. We laser-cut the pieces from 1/4" thick wood. The puzzle does not have any straight edge pieces, and measures about 11" x 11" when completed. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! The puzzle is packaged in a small box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN I TURNED IT ALL OUT INTO PIECES AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED PUTTING BACK TOGETHER AGAIN! OMG. I love love love irregular edges, extremely abstract pieces and not too many pieces making a largish picture (so the pieces are kinda big). As a 70-yr old I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the cut of each uniquely abstract piece and the colors of the artist's design. This was the best puzzle yet. In summary, abstract art, abstract cuts, larger pieces and irregular edges: bravissimo!

Such a nice puzzle. The large pieces are a very pleasant change of pace from the usual. It does take a bit to get them to fit in the blue box - a small added puzzle.

This puzzle is my very favorite for introducing others to the wonders of Artifact. The heft and colorful variety of the individual pieces makes them a joy to handle and examine, and the puzzle goes together as if by magic - at first it seems almost chaotic, but then the connections start to show themselves and away you go! The completed image is aesthetically strong and pleasing, too.
With just 65 pieces, it's a pretty quick one - I like to take it with me to restaurants, for example, because two or three people can do it while waiting on a meal, and it's got a small enough footprint that a group at a four-top table can easily enjoy it together. It's one of my most frequently shared puzzles, because it draws people in to the tactile and artistic experience of Artifact in a very accessible way. I love getting people hooked on Artifact, and this is a wonderful place to start.
