This is a 348 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of William Gropper's 1945 painting "Folklore Map." The map depicts American folk legends as well as wildlife and terrain.
NOTE: This is a mystery puzzle, in that it does NOT have a picture on the box!
The design by Jef Bambas has carefully-placed whimsies and a thematic patriotic design.
Its difficulty is about average.
Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

This is such a fun puzzle - all those little people and little horses resulting in pieces with lots of legs and arms, blue pants, green pants, familiar folklore characters and some not familiar at all. I had to keep my iPad on the table to look them up. This puzzle fits together fairly snuggly compared to other Artifact puzzles making it easy to work in sections.
