This is a 179 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of Rachell Sumpter's "Brothers in Sport." Our Ecru puzzles line has matte images that are easier on the eyes. Sumpter's gouache and pastel art has more detail than an image here can accurately reflect.

The puzzle design is by Matt Lyon, and is composed of unique piece shapes without traditional whimsies. The irregular edge is as unusual as the pieces themselves, and makes the puzzle harder than average.

NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box!

Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA.

Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp.

Review: Packs a lot of punch for its size! I was delighted by the compact, angular pieces, which broke the image's muddy colors down in interesting ways. The irregular border makes starting from the outside in a lost cause, but the central figures offer an appealing alternate starting point, and once you've built those and the trees everything else flows together steadily. Definitely a puzzle with repeat appeal.
