This is a 247 piece Ecru-cut  wooden jigsaw puzzle of the pointillist seascape "La Plage de Saint-Claire" by French artist Henri Edmond Cross.

The puzzle design has fancy square-ish pieces with elaborate connectors, a decorative irregular edge (not shown on the box), and just a few French themed whimsies by Chandler Millwood. Some of the pieces can fit in the wrong place, and overall you might find this a really hard puzzle.

Our Ecru Puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

Review: Tricky puzzle as pieces fit together but don't actually belong together.

Review: Mystery puzzle 22 was pretty challenging to get through, requiring detailed attention to exact fit of each piece. The cut allows for pieces to be interchangeably placed; a challenge when you don’t know exactly what the picture looks like. When you get to the whimsies, you may be reminded that something is amiss in your piece placement. This picture is beautiful, as is all of this artist’s impressionistic work. Highly recommend this one!

Review: This mystery puzzle is well designed! It's on the more difficult side with no image, the abstract painting style, and identical pieces. I definitely put pieces in the wrong spot, but you can always tell when it's wrong by the color and that was so fun! The shape design is very clever. I think the difficulty is perfect, challenging but not frustrating. The final picture is just gorgeous, and the whimsies are adorable!

Review: Love your puzzles ... the pieces are interestingly shaped and fit together tightly so your puzzle is not moving around. The paper finish is a semi gloss which is easy on the eyes and is mounted on thicker wood than some puzzles... just great all around craftsmanship!
