Artifact Puzzles - Grant Haffner Volcano Number 3 Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

This is a dramatic 285 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of "Volcano Number 3" by Grant Haffner.

The puzzle design by Chandler Millwood and Matt Lyon erupts with a jurassic park of dinosaur whimsies, but it is quite challenging due to the unique arrowhead tri-hex tessellation pieces, and an irregular, whimsical edge.  NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! This is a really hard puzzle!

Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in our standard pine wood box with engraved side label and box sticker on the top. Made in the USA.

Released August 2022.

Review: We loved this puzzle! The image is the star as many of the pieces are the same basic shape, making the whimsies quite a delight and relief. Your eye starts to detect every minor shade variation to find the next piece along the row.

Review: I loved the colors, the simplicity of design and the difficulty of completing this puzzle. As with all Artifact wooden puzzles, the quality and workmanship are superb! This is a wonderful addition to my collection of heirloom wooden puzzles.

Review: I like to read reviews of new puzzles to help me decide if I'd like them. ML in Idaho was the only reviewer (ominous beginning), However, while he (or she) was salivating over the oncoming publication of this puzzle, he didn't realize that this was the 2nd puzzle of Haffner's published by Artifact. So, I hope ML has enjoyed the new Volcano puzzle as much as I have (with help from a friend, who initially worked on it under duress, but soon fell in love with it {I knew he would}. Artifact, your puzzles continue to surprise me - please make reviewing them easier for your customers - you'll get more reviews. As you should - you folks are amazing!

Review: What’s not to love about this puzzle. Interesting pieces, beautiful colors, fantastic whimsies. I have been drooling over this image since it first popped up in the “coming eventually” tab. Every day I’d check to see if it was available yet. I love the bright vibrant colors and Grant Haffner’s almost simplistic artwork. It is espesically great artwork to do as a puzzle. I can’t say enough great things about this puzzle or about Mr Haffner’s other puzzle with the highway and sunset. My only complaint is that there aren’t more by this artist. I will buy any future puzzle also. But now for a serious question, where are volcano number 1 and 2?
