The pirates doing pilates are so adorable!! Sturdy pieces, fun scale of detail to piece, sorts well by color. Has some multi piece whimsies.

Super fun to do! Would have been much harder if we didn't use the image, but we like to do that. Loved everything about it.

One must keep fit when one is a pirate, although this intrepid crew takes that to whole new extreme. The funniest thing about it is not being able to tell which direction a person should be facing when putting the pieces together. Are they supposed to be upside down, sideways, or right side up? Even the whimsy pirates are participating in stretching poses.
Overall, a fun puzzle, with a comedy of characters and so many hilarious scenes!

We stayed at a plantation B&B many years ago in the Louisiana backwaters where Pirate Lafitte smuggled, and this puzzle gave those memories new salience as I imagined him and his crew stretching out their aching backs! The puzzle is really well-executed, with crisp amusing details and quite a few uniquely pirate-y whimsy pieces. It's not hard, but it's big enough to feel meaty, and the different color regions made puzzling together feel like teamwork. This is one we'll pull out to share with guests and enjoy many times!
