I'll be honest: this isn't my favorite Artifact image. All that mustard yellow makes me feel vaguely seasick (which I guess is thematically appropriate to the scene); I did it mostly because it came in a Hoefnagel pack with another Artifact puzzle I liked. But the clever cut, with its repeating wave motif, won me over. I don't think the images above do a good job showing what "patterned pieces distributed semi-regularly throughout" means, but it's basically a series of pointed ovals that, linked all together, give the entire puzzle the feel of a roiling seascape stretching off into the distance. I'm still not a fan of mustard yellow, but if you do like the image, this is a puzzle not to be missed.

This is a simple image that makes a really great puzzle! This is a challenging one for sure but doable and very satisfying. Another great Artifact puzzle!
