New March 2025

This wooden jigsaw puzzle has 386 pieces and features the painting Key Master by contemporary Polish painter Roch Urbaniak.

This puzzle is from our Ecru line, which means it has a matte image for reduced glare.

This puzzle is average hard with an irregular edge (the irregular edge is NOT shown on the box!), some drop-outs (= tiny parts of the puzzle left-out to enhance the whimsies), themed whimsy pieces, irregular piece shapes, and knob connectors.  Puzzle design by Marcelle Jay Iremedio.

This was the secret puzzle for the 2025 Artifact Pairs speed contest.  The winning time for the 2 fastest puzzlers in the nation was 40 minutes and 11 seconds, the median time it took a pair of competing speed puzzlers was 1 hour and 8 minutes.

Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from quarter-inch thick wood.

Review: My favorite speed puzzle contest puzzle yet. This worked excellently as a pairs puzzle, because we could each easily claim a color and then work on separate sides of the table without too much interference. But the real fun was in the irregular border, which had a particular logic to assembly that became apparent only gradually as we fitted locks to keys. There are some cool non-border whimsies, too, including the dancing cats, and I love the way the cut design takes inspiration from the art. By taking tiny elements from the painting and replicating them at larger sizes as whimsies, the cutter encouraged me to take a closer look at Roch Urbaniak's intricate work.

Review: Just finished this and I loved it. Just the right amount of challenge. The irregular edge and drop outs were an awesome surprise. Highly recommend.
