This is a big, beautiful 795 wooden jigsaw puzzle of the painting Sunset Reflections by California neo-impressionist painter Erin Hanson.

The big rock is the famous Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

The puzzle is harder than average for its piece count.

The puzzle has lots of whimsies celebrating the Oregon coast and the state of Oregon and its history, irregular curvy piece shapes, and a straight edge.  Puzzle design by David Figueiras and Gema Palacios.

Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut.

As-of Feb 1, 2025: Packaged in a 3" tall blue puzzle box with picture on top, and identifying side labels on the long and short side.

Review: It takes a while because there are a lot of pieces but it’s not very challenging. The top part of the sky is darker than this picture makes it look. I work puzzles without seeing the picture and I was guessing the colorful parts must be the clouds in the sky so the darkish blue and purplish stuff must be water so I had that part nearly done before I realized I was doing it upside down!

Review: A perfect beach escape for these last few days of summer. The beach means something different to everyone, and this puzzle really captures it all with all the little whimsy scenes. From throwing frisbees with dogs to riding bikes on the beach, or surfing in the waves, this puzzle has something to capture your imagination. While not the easiest puzzle with so few colors, it never gets too difficult since you can use the gradient shades. The piece design is also lots of fun, with lots of swirling wind and wave pieces that I can never seem to get enough of. Reflecting on reflections, after finishing this puzzle, I think I'm ready for another beach vacation now. Are you ready for your beach escape?
