This is a richly-colored 79 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of the painting Four Trees by artist Egon Schiele. This is different than most of our puzzles in that it is a connector-less puzzle with its own frame; puzzle design by Jef Bambas. Because it is connectorless, it is a pretty darn hard puzzle despite only having 79 pieces.
Like all our puzzles, this wooden jigsaw puzzle is laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our small blue box with magnetic clasp. Made in USA.
6" by 7.5"

Egon Schiele's painting is so subtle, it's a treat to get immersed in it and get a closer look at it. And the puzzle design is very satisfying. The way the tiles fit inside the frame reminds me of Tetris or Tangram. Very nice!

I love this little puzzle. The way the edges work and the none locking pieces. Great puzzle and takes longer then you thing to put together. I would like to see more of these with a few more pieces.

an addendum to my prior review.....this is nowhere near as hard as the Van Gogh self portrait if you want to compare connectorless puzzles.

Just did this puzzle courtesy of the Hoefnagel Puzzle Club. It is an elegant little number that I may add to my private collection some day. A nice challenge but not a project...maybe an hour. DH decided to offer his help the first time, so I had to do it again a week later just by myself ;-)
