This wooden jigsaw puzzle has 245 pieces and shows-off the painting Maria Between Flowers by 20th century Mexican artist Alfredo Ramos Martínez with an elaborate decorative flowery irregular edge with drop-outs (that is, tiny pieces are left out of the edge pieces to make the edge look more flowery), that is not shown here nor on the box, to make it more surprising! 

The pieces are curvy and irregular shaped (see photo), and the themed whimsy pieces celebrate Mexico. The puzzle is overall average hard. Puzzle design by Matt Lyon.

Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood.

Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp.

Made in the USA (specifically, in Port Townsend, WA).

10" x 12" when complete.

Review: The Mexican artist, Alfredo Ramos, has created a lovely image of Maria, Between Flowers. To further the theme, the puzzler designer, Matt Lyon, has given us flowers that are "border"-line exquisite! This is one of the more beautiful and fun borders we have ever worked with. So, yes, we loved the puzzle, and suggest it as a gift to any of the gardeners on your Christmas list! It is not too difficult, so could be good for a newbie puzzler.
