This is a 210 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of Van Gogh's famous Almond Blossoms. Our Ecru Puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. A fantastic puzzle design by Tara Flannery transforms Van Gogh's art into a tapestry that pays tribute to Nature's beauty, with an exquisite decorative edge. This is a challenging puzzle with its complex irregular edge and varied pieces but limited color palette. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp.

Review: Just challenging enough! The edge, especially the corners are tricky!

Review: When I describe your puzzles to people that have not been exposed to them I will often explain that the puzzle pieces sound and feel like porcelain in your hands. Especially true on this puzzle. It’s challenging and it is lovely and delicate. Delicate in the sense of being a treasure. When you finish this puzzle has the look of an antique. It has become one of my favorites.

Review: Stunning image, probably Van Gogh's favorite because he gave it to his newborn nephew. Trying to figure out the curlicues on the corners and the intricate design of the branches is challenging, but armed with patience not impossible. The result is a beautiful work of art that I don't tire admiring, and it lays now for weeks on my coffee table. Like any Artifact or Ecru puzzles, the pieces fits perfectly (not too lose, not too tight), which makes the finished puzzle feel like scales on a fish. Great tactile pleasure.

Review: I've now done the Almond Blossom puzzle by Wentworth (extra difficult cut) and the one by Artifact. I can say that the one by Artifact is unquestionably more fun and for its piece count, possibly about equal in difficulty. I did this puzzle without looking at the box, which I highly recommend. Even if you depend on the box regularly, it would only help you minimally with this design anyway and it was REALLY cool to see the edges come together. The whimsies are very cute and they almost made me miss having more clearly delineated weather seasons...almost.
