This is a 130 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a 15th century Chinese "bird-and-flower" painting by Lu Ji. The puzzle is a delightful and relaxing after-dinner or afternoon treat for an adult, with whimsy pieces shaped like birds and Chinese characters, and was designed by puzzle artist Maria Berg (to see example pieces click on the small pictures below the product image). This puzzle has a straight edge and is of average difficulty. Like all our puzzles, the puzzle is laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in a small box with magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

Review: Lu Ji's "Birds and Flowers" is a delicate painting with auspicious symbols. Egrets stand for purity, long life, strength and endurance. Peonies symbolize wealth and prosperity. On top of that, Maria Berg has included a whimsy with Chinese characters meaning "longevity". This puzzle is a delight and carries good vibes!!!
