This is a 140 piece puzzle of "Octopus" by Paul Bond. The sneaky giant cephalopod in the art is paired with a clever puzzle design by Jef Bambas, which has an irregular edge, bubbly connectors, and many aquatic whimsies. Be warned this puzzle features man-eating sea-monster whimsies and so may not be suitable for all ages. The puzzle's difficulty is about average. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

Review: I like this one very much. I have solved it with one of my grandsons and we talk about the image. The outline tentacles is a nice feature that works well and is satisfying to work on. Al togeather great puzzle

Review: I love the octopus, looming ominously over the clueless children and the rubber duckie.

Review: Artifact Puzzles has another “Octopus- Rubber Ducky” themed puzzle titled “Overwhelming Odds” that ranks as one of my all-time favorite Artifact puzzles. So when the same theme reappeared I had no choice but to invest in “Octopus”. I did purchase the puzzle for myself, but for full and honest disclosure I have yet to touch the puzzle myself. Normally I finish a puzzle first then I lend the puzzle to very nice and responsible couple who always promptly send to me a trophy photo to my phone and return the puzzle with all the pieces in a Glad bag inside the box. Artifact puzzle never quite go together as planned, that is whole point of buying Artifact Puzzles. So when I lend a puzzle I always tell people; “If this doesn’t go the way you planned, if the puzzle makes you suffer terribly; please call me up and tell me all about in great detail.” This time I never got the trophy photo on my phone. When puzzle was returned I was told the puzzle was great fun however they did not want to ruin the surprise for me. And by the way: “If this doesn’t go the way you planned, if the puzzle makes you suffer terribly; please call me up and tell me all about in great detail.” Isn’t that the highest recommendation?

Review: This puzzle was so much fun. I didn’t realize it was shaped, so that made it even more enjoyable! I would classify this puzzle as extremely easy.
