This is a 291 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of "Galapalooga Bay" by Kristian Adam. This charming 21st century painting is paired with a bubbling aquatic puzzle design by Amy Tang, and has a lot of cute themed whimsy pieces. The puzzle is a little hard due to the predominantly blue palette and the irregular edge, but it's easy to get started and you'll make slow-but-steady progress. Our Ecru Puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

I think the thing we like best about artifact puzzles is the cut is different on every one. While we picked this based on the image, we loved the cut of it. This was such a fun puzzle and worked very quickly.

This puzzle was such a treat. The art work presents amusing and entertaining sea creatures, which provide nice points of reference when working on the puzzle. The whimsy pieces are multiple and placed in appropriate and also surprising locations. The artist has "signed" the piece with his own logo, and that was fun to discover; there are two additional works by this artist in the Artifact/Ecru line, and they also have this unique signature. For us, this was a charming adventure, and it filled our time with fun, giggles, and delight. We recommend it highly!!

Beautiful! The bits of image are spread out amongst the blue, so you feel like a bit of a chicken pecking at this, then that, then that over there... made my head spin trying to keep track of what I was looking for, but that's probably good exercise for my short-term memory!

An enjoyable time spent. Enough colorful sea characters to keep the progress going within the blue of the bay. I love irregular edges, too. A puzzle well worth the time and hands over a fun distraction.
