Sneak Peek: Sandzen's Twilight on the Creek Puzzle

On the distant horizon the sun hangs low in soft purple light. The shadows stretch bare over rocky bluffs and the water below stands silvered in stillness...

There is a strange energy when the world hangs on the edge of a day, somewhere between kinetic anticipation and lethargic joy.

Painted in 1927 by Birger Sandzen, who was born in Sweden, but spent most of his painting career in Kansas.

Our puzzle has 319 pieces and will be released early July, with a straight edge, and curvy irregular piece shapes.  Here's a sneak peek:

This beautiful new puzzle captures the feeling of a twilight in every sense of its design. It features free flowing organic shapes that seem to melt from one to the next. A soft breeze swirls through this puzzle's design.

Get lost in the whimsies as you imagine yourself in the scene flying low in the sky on a little biplane, or sailing on the silk smooth waters.

Sandzen's color palette has a compelling mix of vibrant, saturated colors with soft, cool pastels that look great on the table.

With a straight edge but post-impressionist Van-Gogh like brush strokes, this puzzle is overall average hard for our puzzles, with around 300 pieces. Puzzle design by David Figueiras.
