Many of you have loved the charming art of Danish artist Iwona Lifsches' Santa Claus Delivery and Afternoon Ride puzzles, so we've got a bigger version of
Afternoon Ride coming out in early April, called Serenity, here's the picture:
The image has incredible details (see the cute birdhouses below).
You'd think all those colorful regions would make it easy, but there's so many different textures and colors going on everywhere that it ends up being pretty average hard, making it relaxing but fun. I especially liked the even pace of solving it: it's roughly equally hard the whole time (well, if you don't look at the picture on the box!)
Here's a sneak peek at the pieces. The puzzle design by David Figueras has oodles of neighborhood-y whimsies, a straight edge, and mostly earlet connectors:
