Our newest puzzle is gorgeous. It's a 330 piece puzzle of a flower painting by Severin Roesen in 1853. Roesen was one of America's most famous still-life painters.
Puzzle designer Tara Flannery echo'd the painting's exuberance and florality in the flow of the puzzle design, which grows naturally from the center. Here's a sneak peek:
When we were beta-testing it, we mostly got the flowery inner-parts done, and then got a bit overwhelmed with the remaining brown. But once we pushed threw that initial feeling that things had just gotten really hard, the flamboyant irregular edge started taking shape for a very satisfying finish.
We left this one out on the table for a long-time to admire it. Enjoy!
