We're dis-continuing the Big Pieces Flower Children Puzzle, there's about 10 left in stock, so last chance to get one. It's a great puzzle, but we just don't have enough customers in the 3-7 yr old range to make this one viable.

Here's 1 of 3 customer reviews this puzzle has managed to attract in over 5 years:

Our 3-year-old son, Thomas, is ADDICTED to this puzzle. He calls it "The ABC Puzzle," and we think he's done it at least 50 times. After a few joint sessions with Mom and Dad, he now does it all by himself! What I like about this puzzle are the big, wooden pieces - perfect for little hands. Unlike the cheap cardboard variety, this puzzle lies perfectly flat every time, and the pieces don't get damaged. The whimsy pieces (butterflies, pieces of fruit, etc.) are very artistic and fun for kids (and grownups).

The particular image on this puzzle ("Flower Girls") is a bit feminine - but Thomas doesn't know any better. It would be fun to see some "big piece" Artifact puzzles with more boy-friendly (or at least gender-neutral) themes.

We need more Artifact puzzles with big pieces!

    >It’s a great puzzle, but we just don’t have enough customers in the 3-7 yr old range to make this one viable.

My quest to find good wooden puzzles started because my 4 year old likes to do puzzles multiple times. I figured she would get enough use out of a wooden one to justify the price. The cute whimsical pieces included in wooden puzzles firmed my decision….

The hard part is finding a cute puzzle suitable for kids. They are extremely hard to find.

I was at first disappointed to find that at one time you produced another big piece puzzle. After finding an image of the puzzle, I realised that I probably wouldn’t have bought it. It looks boring: Large blue background. Text that my daughter can’t read or use to help put it together. No images that span more than a few pieces.

My current to buy list for my 4.5 year old daughter:
    1. Merlin by Liberty Puzzles. I was originally planning on buying “When the fairies came”, because it had many cute fairy whimsies. Considering the price and the muted artwork, I wanted to see if my daughter would like it before I bought It. Nope, not a hit. We looked through the 22 puzzles they have shown, Merlin is the winner. Large colorful painting of a dog.
    2. Fabric Owls by Artifact Puzzles. The artwork will definitely appeal to my daughter. No need to ask for her permission this time. She is going to think it’s so cute. I really like how each owl is a different color. That will make it so much easier for her to sort and put together. The mechanics of the puzzle are a bit intimidating for someone her age. I am undecided if I will give this to her when she’s older, or if we will do it together as a family puzzle. Either way, it will be in my collection once it’s back in stock.
    3. Pursuit of Happiness by Artifact Puzzles. 72 large pieces is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m not the biggest fan of the Art, and I don’t know if my daughter will like it… it’s good enough to take a chance on it.

I have a dozen artifact puzzles and I have been putting them together with my son since he was four. I continually look through your inventory for big pieces and bright friendly artwork. Please keep making big pieces puzzles
