A customer recently wrote us:
Sadie is a Welch Terrier, 10 1/2 yrs. old. As you know she’s a terror ( like her breed) they are known for their stubbornness.
I put a gate up in the dining room to keep her from getting into the puzzles, but I felt sorry for her laying in the hallway looking sad; so I let her in for a short time...
Before I realized she came back in with a shredded piece of the puzzle! As you can see from her picture she looks so innocent.
Happily, we were able to replace the puzzle piece!
These multiple posts of dogs chewing up puzzle pieces are alarming. Aren’t people concerned the piece could cause the animal to choke, or cause intestinal blockage, or internal injuries if it actually made it through the digestive tract?
