We've had emails about dogs, and a few about cats, but I think this is the first one featuring a bird who loved the tase of our wood!
It looks like Solanum, a yellow-shouldered amazon parrot, and her parents had a disagreement about the artistic detail in Lunar Concert
Her owner says if you look closely at the top of the image above, you can see the pencil Solanum had stolen to shred before getting bored and turning to the puzzle!
And what was the punishment for the chewed pieces?
Her owner said: "She has also chewed up part of my roommate's chair in the past, and loves eating from my herb garden any time I'm not looking. She already seemed remorseful when we took the picture (trying not to get too close to the puzzle since she had been chased away), so the punishment was just an early bedtime, with business as usual this morning.
This has been a PSA: Parrots grab puzzle pieces too!
In many cases we can replace individual pieces of our puzzles, but we ask for $15 to cover costs, to get that, just purchase our piece replacement here and send us an email with the photo showing where the piece goes, and let us know if we can share your naughty animal story.
