This is a 192 piece wooden puzzle of an Indian miniature painting from around 1596 (Mughal empire). It depicts the immediate aftermath of a battle, and it is full of characters and color. Its full title is "Tayang Khan Presented with the Head of the Mongol Leader Ong Khan." (NOTE: the image does show a few decapitated heads, so may not be appropriate for kids.) The puzzle is very challenging because all the connectors are the same, so one must pay close attention to the image to put it together correctly (and we recommend good light). The pieces are half-hexagons, and the puzzle has a hexagonal edge. Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" wood and made in America. Packaged in a small box with a magnetic clasp.
