This is a 513 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Kevin Sloan's painting Migration of Knowledge. The puzzle design by Tara Flannery has many extraordinary themed special whimsy pieces woven into a simple grid of square pieces with knob connectors. To see example pieces, click on the alternate product image below the main image. Most of the puzzle is quite tight, but there is one loose section due to an extra-special multi-piece whimsy. This puzzle has a straight edge and average difficulty. The puzzle is laser-cut 1/4" thick wood. Made in USA. Packaged in our 3" pine wood box.

I purchased this amazing Kevin Sloan puzzle for my sister's family at Christmas last year. She has two grown sons, so once she & her husband finished it went on to the sons for each of them to accomplish. It has been mailed back to me for my husband & I to work. We were transfixed even during the Covid distraction! It has now been sent back to my sister/owner who is looking to share it with others. I luv luv luv Kevin Sloan's paintings and this one is so aptly titled, Migration of Knowledge! Thank you Kevin, We are now starting "Gentle Giant". Thank you Artifact!

An extremely satisfying puzzle to assemble. The whimsies are delightful and quite clever -- be careful reading reviews because they might have spoilers! The colors are very clear, although the bottom portion has blurry outlines which may add to your challenge or to your frustration, depending on your mood. I also relied on the picture for this one--although I love animal and books, so looking at the picture let me enjoy the picture art more. If you haven't done an Artifact puzzle before, this would be a great one to do; if you have, you'll enjoy the usual Artifact quality.

A favorite because of its Escher-like repeats and the knowledge theme of this puzzle. Love the idea of animal knowledge flows, and the use of human knowledge storage tools showing the knowledge divide.
