This is an incredible 619 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Joe Vaux's 2013 tryptych "Garden of Earthly Delights," which re-visits the themes of the original work by Hieronymous Bosch from a contemporary perspective. The puzzle design by Tara Flannery matches the painting's verve with vivacious puzzle pieces, with many of the piece-shapes inspired by the signature style of master handcutter John Stokes III. Each puzzle panel has a straight edge, and the puzzle's difficulty is average. (Note: we rate this puzzle PG-13 for cartoonish nudity and depictions of violence.) Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in one large pine wood box. Made in USA.

Review: Lots of interesting and uniquely shaped pieces. Clever artwork. Very fun. I'd agree with the PG-13 rating -- milder than the original Garden of Earthly Delights, but still a few images to make you go "hmm".

Review: Just sheer fun to do. Although it is a reasonable number of pieces- separation by color was very effective, did this over two evenings while watching the democratic convention. This was a medium difficult puzzle- not at all on the same difficulty level as Bukuyo Forest.
