Ecru Puzzles - Nicole Gustafsson The Bookkeeper Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

$ 102.00

This is a 372-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of "The Bookkeeper" by Nicole Gustafsson. Note it is kind-of hard. Our Ecru puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. The design by David Figueiras has a unique focal pattern woven throughout the puzzle - it's a real piece-turner. This puzzle has an irregular edge, unique connectors, and themed whimsies. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA (specifically, in Fremont, California). Packaged in a our standard pine wood box.

Review: This puzzle is a delight! The colors are clear and beautiful and show up really well with the matte finish. The whimsy pieces and the picture are sweet and the puzzle enjoyable to put together.

Review: This puzzle was tricky but I would not rank this among the hardest that I have done - there is a lot of purple and a lot of bookshelves but the lines are very clear (I often do puzzles in the evening and can get frustrated squinting at blobs of blurry color under a lamp!) This is a beautiful puzzle, I enjoyed the coziness and cuteness of the little fox and his forest library. I look forward to doing this one again!

Review: Oh my, this was indeed the most difficult puzzle aside from Crystal Grove, but the finished product is worth every effort. I personally do not want to pay almost a hundred dollars for a puzzle that I can assemble in a couple of hours. This puzzle is magical. And the cut. It has the most treacherous border piece I have ever seen in a puzzle. One piece in particular that you would never imagine is a border piece. I have well over a hundred Artifact Puzzles and the most recent few I have purchased—new puzzles—are among the best ever. Congratulations for continuing to step up your game and for keeping your customers sane through the quarantines, the politics, the fires, the hurricanes, the violence, and more. How proud, how grateful, you must be to get to do what you do.

Review: I have done over 40 puzzles by Artifact-Ecru and this was by far the most difficult for me. I nearly quit it several times but was so frustrated with it that instead I stayed up literally, all night until I was able to complete it. It was NOT fun, like all of the other puzzles I have done ! It is very pretty when completed, but for me, not worth the frustration !

Review: I enjoyed this puzzle, but got frustrated (although a better puzzler probably would feel more challenged than frustrated, lol). I ended up needing to rely on the picture quite a bit to match up the angles of the books on the bookshelves, etc. For me, the lack of or very subtle color variation added to the puzzle's difficulty. Oh, the irregular edge was also tough! I think I also may have expected the puzzle to be easier based on the picture since it looks as if it could be in a child's picture book--my mistake!!
