Ecru Puzzles - Robert Delaunay Eiffel Tower Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

$ 48.00

This is a 155 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Robert Delaunay's "Eiffel Tower", a a cheerful french Orphic-cubist painting from 1911. The puzzle has a straight edge and only one whimsy, and was designed by Ashley Boyd. To keep this colorful puzzle from being too easy, there are only two different connector shapes used repeatedly (non-unique connectors), so you could put pieces together wrong, but the colors are so distinct you will notice right away, and overall the puzzle is only average-hard.

Our Ecru Puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in a small blue box with a magnetic clasp with the picture on top.

Review: I've debated this one for a while and finally got it. I didn't realize there was a surprise in it. So glad we tried it out. The art isn't my favorite but it was a fun little puzzle to work.

Review: This was our first mystery puzzle, and we are smitten! What fun to put together little snatches of color, until a connection with other bright spots are seen, and the ending - Magnifique!

Review: Individual pieces are colorful and cheery, providing a lot of visual interest. Even though the lack of a picture does make the assembly more challenging, but the myriad of colors does provide enough visual cues to guide placement and keep the puzzling momentum going. The final picture was really not the image I had envisaged, which came as a real surprise (my brain pulled a visual perception trick on me). Aside from the image, there is another hidden surprise! Such a fun and moderately challenging puzzle!
