This is a 214 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of "The Kingdom" by Aaron Wolf. The puzzle design by Jef Bambas consists entirely of interlocking pieces comprised of linked-together octagons (see images below for example pieces).
This puzzle is harder than our average puzzle because you can put pieces in wrong, and it has an irregular edge that arises naturally from the piece shapes, so you can't sort-out the edge pieces. The irregular edge is NOT shown on the box.
Our Ecru puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare.
Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood.
Made in USA.
Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

This image and cut design took some getting used to — initially, it was sort of like feeling my way through a tangram series. The sunset colors are gorgeous, and both of us really enjoyed it once we got settled in.

We loved this one! The pieces interlocked in a very unusual way that looked like it would be very hard but wasn't at all. It went very fast once we understood the pattern. It was just fun. No other word to describe it.
