This is a 323 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of "Art of Painting" by Jan Vermeer. The design by Ben Goldman consists of irregular pieces with knob connectors and a some themed whimsies. Its edge is straight, so this puzzle is average hard. This puzzle also has a few special pieces.
Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in our standard pine wood box. Made in the USA.

Review: I found this puzzle a little more difficult than average due to the darkness of the image. The picture pasted on the box is lighter than the puzzle itself. Some places in the puzzle lack resolution and if you work under a lamp the black pieces reflect some light: that makes it extra hard because you have to navigate with the shapes of the pieces and not so much with the image itself (natural light is highly recommended). The curtain and the map are particularly good exercises in abstraction, and the chandelier really tickles your mind. Overall, great sense of accomplishment once finished! And a little surprise that happens just when you open the box and discover the pieces.
