This is a really hard 439 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a battle between some swordsmen and some cats (and lots of other creatures and details) by the Ukrainian painter Valentin Rekunenko. 

The puzzle design by Matt Lyon only has three distinct connectors (non-unique connectors) to make this puzzle a bit more challenging than you might think, but the highly-detailed image makes it clear if you put pieces in the wrong place.

The puzzle has a smattering of delightful whimsies themed to the image, and a clean straight edge.

Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in an unfinished pine wood box with a sliding lid, with the puzzle name and piece count engraved on the side, and a small picture of the puzzle on the top.

Review: Really fun to do with all the frames, and beautiful painting, and fun jigsaw puzzle design. I only wish it had been even bigger so I could more fully appreciate all the detail in the original painting!
