Barbara and Larry Hauser
Most of us are familiar with Edvard Munch's painting of "The Scream", which, as part of his 22 paintings in the "Frieze of Life Cycle", represented the anguish of life. Happily, Artifact Puzzles, has chosen to give us a more upbeat selection from this Frieze Cycle: "Dance on the Beach", which represents the joy and optimism of life. We enjoyed this beautiful puzzle and its exuberant message! The whimsies in the puzzle depict at least 13 varieties of dancers, including even a classical ballerina; you will probably find the dance of your choice being performed with energy and ebullience! These whimsies, as always, provided good hints to the construction of the finished product; we were very impressed with the intricate cut of the pieces and the ingenious ways they fit together. We enjoyed every minute of our time "on the beach" with Edvard's creations, and we would highly recommend this puzzling experience!
