Artifact Puzzles - Methane Studios Dragon Moon Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle
This is a 258 wooden jigsaw puzzle of "Dragon Moon" by Methane Studios. The stark beauty of the art is paired with a puzzle design by Danny Song that primarily consists of baying-wolf tessellated pieces, that contrast with the puzzle's detailed themed whimsies.
This puzzle has an irregular straight edge that arises from the wolf tessellation. The irregular edge is not shown on the box!
The puzzle is especially challenging because while all the baying-wolf pieces are unique overall, some pieces can be fit into the wrong place if you don't pay attention.
Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut.
Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

I recieved this puzzle as a gift. It's so challenging! But as it comes together you really fall in love with it. It's really one of my favorites.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Not the hardest puzzle I have done (so far that title still belongs to Plum Blossom) but towards the harder end. Definitely the most enjoyable. I thought the full moon would be low hanging fruit and started there. Nope. You really have to think about the placement of some of these pieces and be prepared to take them apart and place them elsewhere when you run into trouble.
Love the puzzle cut. Love the art. Love that it was not only made in my state, but my favorite city.
This is my favorite puzzle.

I love this puzzle. It's beautiful but it is also difficult. I had never done a puzzle like this before, with so many pieces of the exact same (baying wolf) shape, that fit together perfectly with other pieces that they're not meant to go with. Not fair! But we loved doing it.

What a beautiful puzzle. Not only is this puzzle visually beautiful when finished but the pieces are wonderful to put together. The puzzle cut is just brilliant . Love the multi piece whimsies that form a beautiful dragon in this puzzle. Big thumbs up for finding the room to put this beautiful dragon amongst all these wolves . I found this puzzle to be a challenge in the most wonderful way. Never once was frustrated with the puzzle design. I followed the obvious first with puzzling the dragon and his outline with the sky and filled the dragon in then the moon and the couple in the tent. From there the rest to me is where it got tricky but if you look closely enough you could see slight difference in the colouring and shading to help putting this beautiful puzzle together. The overall finish of this puzzle is just breathtaking. From the artwork to the puzzle cut and the quality of the puzzle. I love this puzzle that much that I have kept it out to admire for a day. Its definitely one I will do again and again. If I could give this puzzle more stars I would. Thankyou so much Maya and the team for another brilliant puzzle well done. !!!!!
