This 508 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle shows the highly-detailed interior of a 19th century British adventurer's club by British artist Louise Kruse, replete with natural artifacts and explorers exchanging stories and enjoying cocktails. 

The puzzle is kind of hard despite a straight edge.  Discover the themed whimsy pieces of 19th century adventurers and fierce creatures stitched into the tessellation of curvy pieces with diverse knob connectors.  Puzzle design by Marcelle Jay Iremedio. 

Note this puzzle is 28" tall, and we cut it as two separate panels that connect seamlessly, but some slight color variation may be visible where the two panels connect. 

Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from quarter-inch thick wood.

Packaged in our unfinished pine wood box with sliding lid and a small image on the box - do not expect the box picture to help you very much, it is too small!

Review: This is one tall puzzle, and it keeps going and going. It's so tall, Artifact actually had to cut this separately as two separate parts and join them together. You'd think that would make this an easy puzzle given all the edges, but unless you rotate the puzzle sideways, you're going to be stretching a LOT to reach the top. All the pieces alternate in convex and concave variants too, which adds some nice variety to the puzzle. The picture has all sorts of hilarious figures like the 4 armed bear, a 3 eyed rabbit(?), a 2 headed bird, and a dodo bird on display. The characters do seem a bit off with blank expressions on all their faces and stiff poses, but it's still a fun picture overall, and the tall format makes for a unique experience.
