This is a 119-piece double-sided wooden jigsaw puzzle of two different images of insects drawn by Jan van Kessel. 🐝 The puzzle design by Meredith Fields has a smattering of whimsy pieces, and few different styles of connectors, but each connector style is repeated exactly the same to make this small puzzle more challenging. 🐞 Whether you solve this puzzle at a crawl or at a flying pace, it should be a sufficient challenge without bugging you. 🐛 Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in a small blue box with a magnetic clasp. Made in the USA (specifically, in Fremont, California).

The double-sided puzzles are a very fun challenge, especially if you don’t look at the image! I enjoyed assembling little puzzle chunks of bug and plant, which gradually were assembled into a larger whole. One entire section had to be flipped over near the end to fit with the other parts; luckily, these Artifact pieces are chunky and fit together well enough that they are easy to flip! Perhaps my favorite small Artifact puzzle yet!
