This is a 98-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of an illustration of bizarre fish from a 17th century Persian Book of Wonders. The wavy puzzle design by Lisa Mabley features varied and delightful connectors and some of the most intriguing whimsies you may ever see. This puzzle has a straight edge and average difficulty. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in our small blue box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

Review: This fishy, funky, fun puzzle is a delight. Ok, it helps if you like quirky artwork; but there is more to it than just that. The scaley creatures are rendered in such beautiful, delicate, deft detail, that it makes for an impressively artistic illustration. The puzzle cuts are great too -- full of fish tails and fins -- with a few fittingly bizarre whimsies thrown into the mix. In spite of its modest piece count and average difficulty, I found it more interesting and engrossing to assemble than I anticipated. Hats off to Artifact and designer Lisa Mabley for creating a tiny puzzle with a big personality.

Review: Bizarre Persian Fish is a mean little puzzle with spooky-looking fish - but I liked it!
