Here is a 412 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle showcasing APAK's "Celebrating Nature." Designed by Tara Flannery, this puzzle features a bubbly irregular edge, a ton of single and multiple piece whimsies, and mushroom curl connectors. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! The puzzle is really hard due to all the pieces looking green! This is a great puzzle to celebrate special occasions, or just to remind you of everyday blessings.
Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our standard pine wood box. Made in USA.

APAK's art is always a hit for me, but my enjoyment of the cuts Artifact uses for them varies. This may be my favorite APAK puzzle: I loved the flowing, abstract curved multi-piece whimsies that mimicked the towers in the art (and also served as false edges—I was bound and determined that some of the inside pieces went on the outside until the very end!) and the irregular top. It was a very monochromatic puzzle, so if you like working primarily by color it’s likely to be frustrating, but as a by-shape puzzling experience it was a lot of fun.

I have a lot of puzzles. A LOT of puzzles. As in “I may have a puzzle addiction” lot of puzzles. :) Having established my puzzle issue, I will tell you that this is one of my absolute favorites. The image is beautiful and whimsical, and the puzzle design exquisite, complimenting the puzzle themes. Buckle up for the challenge. You won’t be sorry.

HARD for me but also very fun. Set it up in a place with good lighting where you can take a while with it :-) I found the color challenging and the lighting I worked under really made a difference: dim lights made it hard to distinguish the subtle color differences but a "daylight" spectrum light bulb made it all much clearer. Also, the edges/picture: I tried working it without looking at the picture and didn't realize the upper edge was so whimsical (I spent a lot of time trying to find the connectors to those shapes!). The finished puzzle is beautiful and intricate.

This is one of my favorite Artifact puzzles and was more challenging than I was expecting (among the harder in the really hard category). When you pull it out of the box two things are immediately pretty surprising: it's mostly green and the pieces are TINY compared to most other Artifact puzzles. Both these things take a little getting used to. There are a ton of very cute whimsies and I actually thought this was a Christmas themed puzzle until I got all the way to the end. Speaking of the end...it's like a magical Christmas surprise in itself! Make sure to spend some extra time looking at the way the cuts come together, it's like one of those terrific endings that is better than the movie.

This is my first Artifact puzzle. I bought it as a special treat for myself during these strange times, and it exceeded all my expectations. The quality is outstanding. The design is well thought-out and all the details truly enhance the whimsy of the art. Just a joy to work on and I look forward to building it again.
