Artifact Puzzles - Angie Rees The Carrot Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

$ 70.00

This is a witty 304 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle featuring Canadian artist Angie Rees' "The Carrot." The puzzle design by Jef Bambas is hopping with nostalgic toy-themed whimsies, and the puzzle has classic connectors and a straight edge. Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our standard unfinished pine wood box. Made in USA (in Menlo Park, just south of San Francisco).

Review: This puzzle was so delightful! It looked like it would be easy with the bright color scheme, but it was actually a little harder than I anticipated. It also had mysterious pieces in it that I couldn't imagine fitting in the puzzle but when I put it all together, SURPRISE! they made the jigsaw magic! I played with the completed puzzle far longer than any adult should. The whimsies were plentiful and such cute reminders of childhood toys. I'm saving this puzzle for the next time my friends come over to put together a jigsaw with me.

Review: This is a very playful puzzle that contains a huge surprise that makes it extra-special! The puzzle designer, Jef Bambas, definitely gets the Puzzle Academy Award, in our opinion. The whimsy pieces will make you long for your childhood days, and there are even extra whimsies that appear as the pieces fit together. We loved finding the little train with caboose!

Review: Have you ever pulled a rabbit from a hat? No? Well now’s your chance to do the next best thing. With a jack-in-the-box winking at you, the pieces nicely fall into place. That is, until you get to just the green-and-white pieces. From then on, you’ll need to be a shape shifter. You’ll enjoy the special twist that makes Angie Rees's "The Carrot" fun for everyone.

Review: Wow wow wow. This was pretty easy at first, but then we got down to just the green background and we slowed down but everyone was curious about the bunny and when we figured it out it was really special.
