Artifact Puzzles - APAK Islands Of Life Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

$ 50.00

This is an amazing 165 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of an imaginary space scene by the artist-couple APAK titled "Islands of Life." The puzzle design by Tara Flannery echoes the painting with organic plant shaped pieces, space whimsy pieces, a few drop-out pieces, and a themed irregular edge. Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our standard pine wood box. Made in USA.

    Review: Received this puzzle as a gift and as soon as we opened the paper, I knew we were in for a treat. From the box, to the actual picture, and to the fabulous whimsies, we are hooked. This was our first Artifact Puzzle, but certainly won’t be our last!

    Review: This was my first Artifact puzzle. I really like the puzzle, and I think I would enjoy doing it again. The edge of the puzzle is really cool, and it's clever how the connectors match the type of edge, as well as the theme of the edge (bottom is roots and the top and sides are growing things).

    Review: This was my first Artifact puzzle (asking for my 4th this birthday). I just did it again for the 3rd time and it is still puzzling. Pieces are so whimsical and charming. The irregular edges include 2 spaceships with "docks". My 4 and 6 year old were able to get into the action this year.

    Review: An incredible puzzle that will blow your mind if you expect straight edges or "normal" scenes. But if you can loosen up, go with the flow, and let the shapes and dazzling whimsies lead you where they will, the fun will be there every time you do it. I keep finding new excitement every time I do this one. It's amazing, finally meditative and relaxing instead of frustrating, as it was the first time I tried to force it to be what I expected it to be. One of my favorite Artifact puzzles now.
