Artifact Puzzles - Allen Douglas The Kraken Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle
This challenging 219 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a sea monster is titled "The Kraken" by Allen Douglas. This puzzle is very hard despite having only 219 pieces, because the edge is irregular (no straight edge pieces), and the pieces are pretty crazy. This puzzle was designed by Tara Flannery, and includes many ocean whimsy pieces. All our puzzles are laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood, and made in USA. This puzzle is packaged in a small cardboard box with a magnetic clasp.

Absolutely gorgeous puzzle, and so much fun to work! The edges are practically impossible to tell apart from the interior pieces, and the sharks and octopuses and such are a delight. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this beauty!

No edge pieces and very similar colors thoughout makes this more challenging than you would expect for the number of pieces. Great whimsy pieces and an enjoyable puzzle.

Beautiful colors, the gradation of which ups the challenge. It was 4.5 hours of delightful fun across a couple of afternoons. Nice themed whimsies, my favorite being the hammer head shark. Being quite small, I didn’t find it particularly difficult—I’d say medium. The pieces fit loosely which detracts a bit from the overall picture upon completion, but yet it still has plenty of eye appeal. Good value. Highly recommended.

Beautiful design, you really have to use the shapes to complete the lower half. Love the piece shapes.
