This is an elaborate 422-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Randal Spangler's Some Enchanted Evening. David Figueras created a design just as beautiful and detailed as Randal Spangler's fantastical art, including a gorgeous irregular edge with drop-outs. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! Gnomes, fairies, and other forest creatures are just some of the many whimsies spread throughout the puzzle. Construct this with just as much care as must have been put into building such a magical castle! This puzzle is harder than average. Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in our standard pine wood box. Made in USA.

Review: We found this more on the maddening side... the pieces are pretty small so physical differences like connector shapes are hard to see, and the castle has a lot of similar-looking pieces. This lead me at least to use the image more than I ordinarily would, which is cumbersome. Really liked the image though.

Review: Had fun assembling this puzzle with family on Christmas day. We managed to do it without looking at the image by paying close attention to details (for example, the style and direction of shingles on the roofs).

Review: Scalloped edges with dropouts make it tougher, while the all the brown tones in the middle are a bit maddening. However, the many curlicues make it fun and interesting!
