The State of the American Artist

How are artists in America doing? And what are they doing? Xanadu Gallery has been running a survey to answer these questions. It's not a proper random sample (lot of self-selection bias here), but they managed to get response from over 1000 artists across the country, of  which 44% consider themselves "full-time artists."
