We have a new puzzle which is nearly finished that we're testing and fine tuning! I present to you, The Virgin and Child, by Joan de Burgunya.
The artist lived around 1510, and was also known as the Master of San Felix. In 1518 he moved to Gerona, Spain and took charge of the altarpiece of the Church of Saint Felix. The Virgin and Child painting we have chosen by him is one of his most famous paintings.
This is a divinely challenging puzzle so far, with a mix of square, hexagonal and triangular pieces. It has some thematically appropriate whimsies as well, which help break up the pattern and provide some clues in tough spots.
