This 282 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle is a map of Asia Minor made in 1596 by famed mapmaker Jan Huyghen van Linschoten. Linschoten is famous for the theft of the Portuguese maps of the East Indies that led to the creation of the Dutch East Indian company (see wikipedia for more on Linschoten).
