Review: If you are searching for the perfect puzzle, look no further! "Forest" is a visually exquisite piece of art, full of tiny, intriguing details that capture your interest and ignite your imagination. This puzzle was a delight to put together. Firstly, we love whimsy pieces, and we found an ample supply that were all so appropriate to the theme of the puzzle. Then, we were delighted with the many birds and animals enjoying this little forest. Thanks to a previous reviewer, we even found the hermit doing his meditation in a remote cave. This Ecru puzzle is cut to perfection, with each piece dropping smoothly into place to add to the scene. This was such fun, and we all know we need a little fun right now!! We highly recommend this wonderful "Forest"; we won't be taking it apart for a while! It is our "new favorite" amongst our Artifact and Ecru experiences.

Review: This puzzle was my first of the Ecru line. It is absolutely stunning. The colors, the subject, and the cut. When two or three pieces are joined, they appear to be one piece with nary a seam. The entire puzzle, when completed, is mesmerizing. I think this puzzle at this price point is one of the greatest values available from Artifact. It is challenging but not frustrating. We have already assembled it multiple times. It might just be my imagination but each time we assemble it the fruit on the trees seem to ripen. I can't wait to put it together in the fall. The colors will be breathtaking.

Review: Beautiful puzzle. I want this to be my backyard! I agree, this is average difficulty. Sometimes you don't want something too easy (you get bored)...sometimes you don't want something too difficult (you get frustrated). As usual, as I near completing an Artifact puzzle, I experience a slight panic that "there is a missing piece." As usual, I am wrong. All pieces are present and accounted for. I will admire the forest for a bit before it goes back in the box. Will rebuild in the future when I desire another nature walk.

Review: Beautiful puzzle. The artists detail is amazing. He even made the paper and all the paints for this painting. Loved finding all of the birds and animals, kept finding squirrels. I had to get my magnifying glass out to look at everything. My favorite is the petroglyph. Puzzle was easy for me I(I like them hard) but so lovely is was a joy to work. Highly recommend.

Review: Someone said I should relax, get into the zone and calmly work on my jigsaw puzzles. I have no idea what they could be thinking. This is a competitive sport. This is like James Bond defusing a nuclear bomb at Fort Knox as in Goldfinger. I do this for the excitement. I just finished Ecru – Jethro Buck’s Forest and had a great time. I now have a forestry degree in imaginary tree species. This tactically is much like Artifact –Jeyselle Solentiname’s Jungle. Over an intense study session one becomes experts at leaf discernment. Not to complain, it is a lot of fun. This was Ecru Mystery Puzzle #8, the fun with Mystery puzzles is one is not supposed to look at the image on the box, now that it has been repackaged I guess It is OK. Puzzle is rated by Artifact as “Average” but by peeking I cut the factory estimate of 5 hrs 15 minutes down to 2 hrs 50 minutes. There is a lot of detail in most every large tree. Numerous birds, and squirrels for example. By finding all that detail it greatly helps when placing pieces. Had I not peeked five some hours would have been a reasonable time. Often Artifact uses the middle 95% of an artwork so you can’t cheat and use the picture to create the edge. This is the first time in my experience they did the reverse and the puzzle is larger than the image. Notice the tiny hermit sitting in the cave half way up on the right hand side; he isn’t on the box at all. Surprise! Recently Artifact has become a lot more explicit about which puzzles have what kind of irregular edges. How unfortunate. Some cry babies on Amazon were deducting one point because they did not get exactly what was imaged on the box. It is an adult puzzle not a jet fighter that one must land on a carrier deck at night. No one is going to die if a few of your brain cells now have stretch marks. Grow up you cry babies. I can recommend this puzzle both as a solo or family project. My Zen like friends can extend their ecstasy by not peeking.
