This is a 181 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of Piet Mondrian's Oostzijdse Mill. Our Ecru puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. Piet Mondrian's Oostzijdse Mill was painted in 1907, before he embraced his more well-known abstract style, though the structure of this piece foreshadows his later work. The puzzle design by Jef Bambas pays homage to his abstract style, and has non-unique pieces inspired by the Hilbert curve (no whimsy pieces). This puzzle is extra challenging due to non-unique pieces! This challenge is reflected by its Mim Timing: 4 hours and 20 minutes to complete (87 seconds per piece). Almost as hard as it is to spell.
Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in a silver box with a magnetic clasp.
