this is very different. The puzzle is not too big or hard but not that easy either. If you have never tried a wooden piece puzzle this is a good one to start with.

By Gary L. Connely Artifact Puzzles is a small Seattle-based company specializing in wooden jigsaw puzzles - if you're a person who enjoys a challenging picture puzzle, you're gon'a love the Artifact products....
All of the Artifact puzzles are printed on 1/4 inch plywood, using soy-based inks - the images are very bright and clear. The pieces are then cut using laser technology - the cuts are very precise and the pieces are often intricate. The puzzles are small and the pieces are smaller....
"Sunset," a picture painted by Russian artist Arkady Rylov in 1917, is a great introduction to Artifact's puzzles. It's small, only 4 1/2 by 6 inches; the image is crisp; the colors are vibrant and bold; and the 80 pieces - mostly interlocking triangles with numerous false edges - are challenging. If you love a good jigsaw, but hate the idea of a card table sitting in your living room for the next two months - try "Sunset." It's so small that you can do it on almost any flat surface and with only 80 pieces, you can get it done in less than an hour, (but it's challenging enough to revisit it several times).
Like most of the smaller Artifact puzzles, "Sunset" is packed in a colorful drawstring pouch, (the larger puzzles are packed in very cool wooden boxes).
I don't think that "Sunset" is appropriate for a young child - the pieces are too small and the puzzle is too hard - but for a child of..., maybe 10 years or older - especially if s/he enjoys picture puzzles - or an adult, it's a great choice.
